As a lab for research and creation, it focuses its attention on the development of the technical, methodological and creative aspects of the performer’s craft, on the development of artistic performing languages that result from inter-disciplinary interaction and on the construction of contemporary poetical pieces that are born from the expression of the creative needs of its members.
Such researches are consolidated in the public presentation of performances and in the sharing of its practical conclusions in workshops, training periods and public demonstrations for a varied public, from professionals of the performing arts, to students, young children, and others.

As a cultural programmer, it takes on the responsibility of develloping new and more aware audiences, by organizing events such as ESTA, international theater, dance and music festival, or the ‘aTelier da Juventude’ (Youth Workshop).
